Lawrenceville, GA, June 11, 2019 – At ISTE 2019, educators from all over the world will explore how innovative today’s classroom can be with Boxlight Corporation (BOXL), a leading provider of interactive technology solutions for the global education market. During the conference and expo in Philadelphia, Boxlight will unveil new educational robotics and digital classroom systems, host a STEM Playground, and present daily sessions to help educators transform classroom learning.
At booth #2622 in the Expo Hall, educators can preview Boxlight’s new ProColor Interactive Flat Panel Display technology, Mimio MyBot educational robotics system, MimioClarity audio system, and MimioInteract activities for the ProColor touch table. In the STEM Playground, they can get hands-on experience with the Mimio MyBot and Labdisc portable STEM lab and enter a drawing to win the robotics system. In addition, members of Boxlight’s professional services division, EOS Education, will be available to discuss classroom training and educator certification services plus edtech tech experts will conduct hourly presentations in the booth’s theatre and mock classroom.
During the live edtech presentations, educators can gain best practices and insights on how to improve student learning and engagement in the classroom. In the session, “Teacher Support: The Key Ingredient for a Successful Digital Classroom,” April Mayo and Rod Smith from Clayton County Public Schools in Georgia will discuss how they transformed 3,200 digital classrooms, and share best practices and lessons learned. Another session will feature Jim Christensen, executive director, ShareSpace Foundation which is part of the Buzz Aldrin Family Foundation. He will present “Empowering Students in STEM Education Using Robotics and Space Exploration,” to highlight how educators can incorporate robotics and coding into instruction. Educators can also attend sessions on such topics as strengthening the relationship between teachers and technology, designing a collaborative digital classroom, and performing science experiments outside the lab.
“ISTE is one of the world’s most influential edtech events, so it’s an ideal place to showcase Boxlight’s newest and most innovative classroom technologies,” said Boxlight CEO Mark Elliott. “At Boxlight’s booth, educators can experience the new Mimio MyBot, which is making its debut at ISTE.
