The Challenge

Before partnering with Boxlight-EOS Education, educators at Deer Valley Unified School District were seeking more effective ways to:
  • Increase student engagement through dynamic, interactive digital lessons
  • Offer more student choice and ownership in learning
  • Promote meaningful student reflection and portfolio development
  • Maximize their use of Google for Education tools with hands-on, classroom-ready strategies
  • Although the district had access to the tools, teachers needed support in transforming them into powerful, student-centered learning experiences.

Google Solution Implementation

With support from Boxlight-EOS Education, Deer Valley educators participated in customized professional development focused on leveraging Google Workspace for Education. Completed sessions have included:
  • Student Portfolios with Google Sites
  • Digital Escape Rooms using Google Slides, Forms, and Sites
  • HyperDocs and Choice Boards for flexible, student-paced exploration and Google Slides and Docs to empower student voice
These sessions provided practical templates and examples that educators could immediately apply in their classrooms.
