More Than a Speaker. A Full Communication Node.

A conventional IP speaker plays audio. Nothing more. A school that needs intercom adds a second device. Visual alerting takes a third. Seeing into a space during an incident takes a fourth.
Each device comes from a different vendor, mounts separately, and is managed on its own.
The Symphonic Series replaces that stack with one managed device — every capability handled through Symphony.

Symphony device features displayed as a centered card grid

High-output audio

Announcements and alerts have to reach everyone, including the back of a noisy classroom or the far end of a corridor. A single device covers the space clearly at even moderate volume.

Two-way intercom

Communication during an incident cannot run one direction. The 4-microphone array lets staff talk back to the front office or a responder, hands-free, from anywhere in the room.

RGB LED ring

Audio alone fails the students who can't hear it or rely on visual cues. The LED ring delivers a color-coded visual signal independent of any screen.

Built-in camera

When enabled, it provides situational awareness on demand for staff or responders when needed. The camera stays physically covered by a manual flap until a school chooses to use it — privacy is the default by design.

One managed device

The Symphonic Series consolidates multiple systems into one device — reducing IT burden from installation to routine operation, and by removing the work of making separate vendors' equipment talk to each other.

Built on open standards

Symphony devices are standard SIP endpoints powered by standard PoE. They interoperate with existing IP telephony, third-party SIP devices, and the network a school already runs — no proprietary protocols, no vendor lock-in.

One System. Every Space.

Three form factors, one platform. Solo, Tempo, and Vista are managed through Symphony — the difference between them is the space each one fits.
Symphonic Solo
IP Speaker

Symphonic Solo

Full audio and intercom capability for spaces where a display is not required. The RGB LED ring signals alert status without a screen. Solo mounts to any surface or a 1×2 ceiling tile tray, powered over a single PoE+ cable.

Symphonic Tempo
IP Speaker + Clock

Symphonic Tempo

Synchronized time, daily messaging, and visual alerts. The screen and LED ring signal simultaneously — two independent visual layers in a single device. Normal operation resumes automatically when the event clears.

Symphonic Vista
IP Speaker + Large Panel

Symphonic Vista

A 21.5-inch display carries audio and visual alerting at distance. The HDMI output chains panels through a corridor without adding network endpoints. A single Symphony activation reaches every Vista simultaneously.

Built to Fit Your Campus. Built to Last.

Fits your infrastructure.
The Symphonic Series runs on the network a school already has. Power and connectivity arrive over a single cable — PoE+ for Solo and Tempo, PoE++ for Vista. No secondary power infrastructure. No proprietary wiring. Devices install into existing spaces without a rip-and-replace cycle.
Simple to manage.
All three devices run on the same Boxlight-developed platform and are managed through Symphony. Zone assignments and device configuration happen centrally — no physical access to individual units required after installation. One device to learn, one system to manage, fewer points of failure to maintain.
Grows with the campus.
A school can start with the spaces that matter most and add coverage over time. Each device joins the same system, so expanding from a single building to a full district doesn't mean a new platform or a second vendor. The investment scales as needs change.
Commissioning support.
When an account needs commissioning support, Boxlight's Technical Services Group handles map setup, device assignment, and zone configuration — or trains the integrator team to self-perform.

Symphonic is where Symphony reaches every space.

Symphony manages bells, paging, intercom, alerting, digital signage, and campus communication from a single browser-based command center.
The Symphonic Series connects to that platform directly, extending its coverage to every space on campus. Districts already running Symphony gain full endpoint management without adding a new system.
